Julia and Patrick

So I finally get to post these pictures of my sweet sister-in-law and her soon to be husband.... soon as in 4 days. Yay! This was such a fun bridal shoot. We were just out in farm land driving around and stopping where the light called our names. I love how they turned out. Pretty bride wouldn't you say?! We took a little longer than planned on the bridals and had to rush to get some of Patrick's groomals. He knew how to work the camera so we got some good ones fast, just as the sun was going down. It's always nice to have a comfortable man to photograph! Can't wait for the wedding!

Again... another fun HS Senior shoot. Loved the jacket! We got some great ones of her. So fun.

Seniors are fun to take pictures of. They're very responsive and good at following directions. I also don't have to jump up and down to make them smile..... typically. Tami was easy to get a good picture of.  Love her eyes!

Bridals

How on earth could I have missed posting my own sister's bridals? To be fair though, I posted it on another blog I thought I was going to start. So Caroline, it wasn't that I didn't, just not on here. We, the sisters, had so much fun dress shopping with her. We got to relive the excitement. If I had to do it again, I would so pick this dress. BEAUTIFUL! But it wasn't about me. So here are a few of my cute baby sister.

Engaged and reunited at last

This reuniting has been in the works for a long time. Julia and Patrick met over 2 years ago. Just shortly after they met Patrick decided to serve a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They had fallen in love, but he knew it was what he was supposed to do, so she said she'd wait. In the middle of his mission they knew they were to be together forever, so for the last year of his mission Julia has been planning their wedding. This photo shoot was about a week after he got back and you can tell they picked up right where they left off. Matter of fact, I think it was better than where they left off. So excited for them! Here are a few of my faves from the photo shoot that day. I love this first one where they're just smiling at each other and their kissing one?! Nice!

 

 

In the past

So I've been missing doing photo shoots lately. I haven't done much since I've moved and in some ways that's kept my life calmer, but I miss it. I was going through some old pictures and realized there are several I never posted. It made me happy to work on them, so the next few posts will be from the fall before I moved...

My friend Gina has these darling children. 3 beautiful girls (set of twins) and this darling boy with this great curly hair. They older two were pros! They'd been in front of the camera before!

Bridals

This beautiful bride is my sister's best friend from college. She's like a sister to us. I'll miss her wedding since I'm moving, but I was able to take her bridals and it was so fun. Beautiful inside and out!
